Our colour powder is non-toxic and non-irritant. Designed for fun events it is compliant with the EN-71-3 standard and is 100% edible, but we prefer to wear it than eat it!

Approximately 2km of colour powder, challenges, running, walking, jogging or skipping and sliding as you make your way round our fun course in the centre of the North Inch.

Our powder is non-toxic, you can just rinse with water, for added eye protection you could purchase a pair of our colour sunglasses!

To get the powder out of hair and skin it is best to do this while still dry. Shake it off first, then rinse and possibly repeat.

Infants under 4 can be taken on the course for free, but will not be classed as participating in the run, and should avoid the obstacles as they will not be insured. Infants will be taken at parent or guardian's risk and the organisaers cannot be held liable in the event of an injury. Children under the age of 12 years must be supervised by parent/guardian at all times. Children between 12 and 16 may run alone, but must have at least one adult present at the festival during thier running wave. Adults are classed as those over 16 and can supervise up to 4 children during the run.

We are located very close to the centre of Perth City. The following are some suggested nearby car parks: Rose Terrace, Scott Street Car Park, Canal Street Car Park, West Mill Street Car Park, Charles Street Car Park, Leonard Street Car Park (4-hour max stay, £1.30 per hour). South Inch Car Park, Canal Street Multi-Storey Car Park, Victoria Street Car Park, Thimblerow Car Park, St Leonard's Bank, Edinburgh Road, Shore Road, Riverside, Gowrie Street, Commerical Street (10-hour max stay, £1.30 per hour). Disabled Parking; Free parking spaces exclusively for the use of blue badge holders are provided on various city centre streets and in most Council operated car parks. Blue badge holders are permitted to park in any Council controlled on or off-street parking bay free of charge. Blue badge holders may also park at other on-street locations subject to the normal conditions of use of their badges. Park & Ride is also available: Broxden Park & Ride is located at a small service area just off the M90 on the outskirts of Perth. Stagecoach bus services 7A and 7B provide an easy link between Broxden and Perth City Centre. These services operate via Scone P&R, Perth city centre, Hillend and Broxden P&R. A day return ticket is priced at just £1.60, with children travelling for 80p. Parking is free at Broxden P&R. Journeys to the city centre run up to every 20 minutes, Mondays to Saturdays and up to every 30 minutes on Sundays. Scone Park & Ride is located just off Angus Road in Scone, ideal if you have travelled from Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie or Alyth. Stagecoach services 7 and 7A provide a link into the city centre from Scone Park & Ride. The route also extends to Hillend and Broxden Park & Ride. Parking is also free, and departures into Perth city centre are up to every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday and up to every 30 minutes on Sundays.

Perth Railway Station is a short walk from the city centre (20-minute walk to the North Inch) with regular services to and from Stirling, Dundee and Pitlochry, with a journey time of around 30 minutes. From Edinburgh, the journey takes 1 hour and 25 minutes. The direct train to Perth from Glasgow runs hourly from Queen Street and takes around an hour.

Our activities range from baby sensory activities, right the way through to activities suitable for adults - there is something for everyone!

We've worked with lots of organisations both local and national to ensure we provide as many free activities as possible, while also keeping festival entrance free. Some will ask a small unavoidable charge due to running costs, please see a breakdown below: Paid: Colour run, bungee trampoline/water zorbing/climbing wall/total Wipeout , Axe throwing and laser clay shooting. Free - Kids Rugby, All-ages Rugby, all-ability bikes, sustrans led cycle ride, boxingl, DR Bike Servicing, Royal Marines challenge, Combat archery, Martial Arts, Live Active family fitness sessions. The giant bleep test, Army engagement team and the ever popular giant velcro football target. In the STEM zone - Glasgow science centre - Bodywork exhibition, Dundee science centre - Volcanoes and games, Army challenge and VR, RAF STEM, Scottish Maths council - fun maths challenges, light lab and much more. On the stage, hosted by Big Al will be several fun activities and games, including the Commando chef and the colour run warm-ups.

For the safety of all, but especially the children, we cannot allow younger children to be unsupervised around the Festival. Under 12’s must be supervised at all times.

We'll have lots of tasty, healthy food and some sweet treats available: Food outlets attending: The Bulldog Frog (exciting street food), Fraser’s Pizza Caravan (Authentic Wood-Fired Pizza), Macrotrition (Healthy Prepared Meals), BLT Catering (Fresh Doughnuts), Starfish Cakes and Bakes (Brownies, Cookies, Cupcakes etc), Drinks & Coffee: Wild Highlands LTD (Hot Drinks and branded reusable cups), Procaffeinate Coffee Truck (Hot drinks, iced coffee and baked goods), Pawsitive Panda (hot drinks and baked goods). Energy Festival will host a free-play and picnic zone where families can relax, away from the hustle and bustle, eat their own food and play freely with some fun equipment.

Energy Festival will be providing attendees with toilet facilities - including Portaloo’s, urinals and a disabled access toilet.

The festival is located on the short, well-trimmed grass of the North Inch. If wet weather occurs, wheelchair access may be challenging on the grass. The North Inch is surrounded by a paved path, where all the action can be viewed from. Wheelchair activities can be found outside Bells sports centre on the hard standing - which will be fully accessible at all times. Disabled toilets will be available.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Energy Festival, they must remain on their leads at all times and be good around children. Dog waste bins are available all the way around the inch. Please be aware that there may be adults and children that are nervous around dogs and there may be occasions where there are crowds and enclosed spaces to navigate.
